Certifications UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 Vision e ISO 14001

In 1999, Ind.I.A. S.p.a. was awarded the Quality Certification ISO 9001 and renewed yearly, till the recent adaptation to the european rule ISO 9001:2008. Aiming at these certifications opened various opportunities for us along the way, among them, it gave us another chance to examine the company’s procedures. As a result of this we were able to raise even higher the quality of our pieces and we were able to improve the services we provide to our clients.

Achieving this certification has not been considered reaching a goal, we believe instead that it has been one of the trials Ind.I.A. S.p.a. has faced during its 35 years of history. Our path is one that has been distinguished by non-stop research on quality controls, constant improvements and by the the solid efforts of our staff. We are looking forward to the aesthetic and technical innovations of wrought iron art. Let us not forget wrought iron was born to satisfy two primary needs to human beings: safety and beauty.

Years have passed since being awarded that certification, and Ind.I.A. S.p.a., in February of 2006 pursued again such certification obtaining the even stricter ISO 14001. This certification is dedicated to environmental preservation. This new triumph puts us at an avant-garde level of understanding on dealing with the more delicate social and environmental problems in our world today. Such effort is a major focal point in our company since it describes those needs of safety and beauty mentioned above. Safety and beauty characterize our products and the vision of the quality we provide. We are convinced there is nothing as beautiful as our world and that it is a primary duty for all of us to protect it.

Inox Certifications

We certified a range of balconies & railings realised with our products. We submitted our products to some laboratory tests with the aim to confirm their performance from a resistence point of view.
Test on impact resistance - Test on traction resistance - Test on corrosion resistance The positive results that we obtained with these tests, allowed us to certify our products according to the European laws in force.

IMPACT RESISTANCE The test consists in impacting the railing with a 50 kg body, by hitting it in the most critical point of its structure. The pendulum realised with the weight must have a length of 1,5mt and has to cover 30° angle from the moment of the release to the moment of the impact with the railing.
TRACTION RESISTANCE The test consists in applying a driving strength of 500/N/m (50kg/m) in the most critical point of the structure. At the moment of the test, the item must not show a flexure higher than 30 mm. After the test, the railing does not have to show permanent deformations or fractures.
CORROSION RESISTANCE The products have been put inside a saline fog room, to carry out the test according to the ISO 9227:2006 rule. The room nebulises a solution of salt NaCI at 5% with pH level between 6.5 and 7,2 at a constant temperature of +35°C. Length of the test : 120 hours.
