At first we wondered if it was possible to combine beauty and safety in a product such as wrought iron and we found the answer in the idea of the design and subsequent architectural production of Arteferro Systems. In fact, over the years, safety has become synonymous with professionalism and competence for us and for our customers. Driven by these reasons, the Arteferro team, according to the logic of “thinking first, designing second”, first conceived and then created a system of certified and modular railings, tested in our verified laboratories with project loads of 2kN/m and pushed up to breaking of 3.5 kN/m. In our fast-paced world, where time is the cornerstone of everything, the other features that our system should have had therefore were ease and speed of installation. Hence the idea of the prefabricated module, capable of creating a pleasant aesthetic effect with no time wasted when installing it. Thanks to this feature, the professional is faced with a ready-to-use module that does not require further welding, painting and galvanising. Our panels, in fact, are fully customisable with regard to materials, colours and finishes. Arteferro Systems is the answer to this idea and this catalogue is the proof. We immediately realise the freshness of the lines, expertly installed in environments of great aesthetic taste.

Arteferro Systems is characterised by an innovative style. The classic motifs of wrought iron blend and interact with modern geometries giving life to a unique whole that speaks of the past and the future.
The Classic style lines of the early 1900s liaise with a contemporary sensibility that rationalises the space and makes it elegant and precise.
The careful typological research that underlies these revolutionary design products qualifies them as one of the most modern and successful interpretations of the ancient and noble art of wrought iron.
The GD post is the supporting structure of our certified system which guarantees its tightness. It withstands load stresses of 1 kN/m and 2 kN/m. Available in flat version, in round version and in square version. The last two guarantee the possibility of adding an offset handrail support to ensure compliance with current standards.
The clamp, the connecting element between the infill panel and the supporting structure, has been designed to adapt to different types of posts: flat, square, round. Iron, the construction material, is here in a micaceous black version.
The infill is the ornamental part of our timeless design system. The geometric lines of the collection blend wisely with the materials used. The iron revisited in this product gives life to an object that speaks of both past and future.
ARTEFERRO RAILING SYSTEM
Our patented modular railing completely revolutionises the concept of iron railing. In fact, starting from the positioning of the posts, an operation that must be performed prior to the positioning of the panels, it will be possible to delimit any surface exposed to the risk of falling from above in a very short time. It is positioned on the market as an alternative, innovative product with a modern and valuable line, it can be adopted for any type of need with no limits and in compliance with current legislation. Perfectly suitable for the branches of private and public construction, fully customisable in pushing loads 1 kN and 2kN, thanks to the certified post. The wide range of our panels allows the customer to place and customise the patented modular parapet in any environment, choosing the type of infill most suitable for the case, making it totally unique.
ARTEFERRO FRENCH BALCONY
Arteferro French Balcony is a modern closure, capable of responding to the needs of each customer. Ideal for those who need to close the rooms facing the outside, it transforms the views into a protected space, without compromising the architecture of the building’s façade. Available in two versions: anchoring on the wall and direct anchoring on wall with insulating coat.
Our GD certified system consists of a structural core made up of 2 posts and a customisable handrail depending on the structure, made to provide safety but also aesthetic harmony. The certified clamps can be adapted to 3 different types of posts: flat, round or square.

SAFETY DETAIL SIDE ANCHORING
In order to meet the safety criteria set by the various and increasingly limiting regulations, in the case of lateral anchoring it will be necessary to insert a Ø 12 mm safety rod. The rod, in fact, installed at the correct distance, eliminates or prevents the possibility of falling.

THE PARAPETS MUST BE 1000 MM. H
Our Arteferro Systems parapets are 1100 mm high and comply with UNI 10809:1999 standards.
RAILINGS, BALUSTRADES OR PARAPETS MUST BE UNCROSSABLE AT ANY POINT BY A SPHERE OF 100MM IN DIAMETER.
The protection elements of our Arteferro Systems parapets have a 10 cm lower opening between them.
ABOVE 500 MM OF FALL, IT IS MANDATORY NOT TO HAVE SCALABLE ELEMENTS.
The handrail installed in the Arteferro Systems is always offset from the buffer panel, therefore it meets the safety requirements regarding the scalability of railings.
Arteferro has created an area specifically dedicated to testing the various systems in its factories in order to rigorously test all production. Our products have therefore always been designed and manufactured to offer the highest level of quality and safety because we want to be sure that they live up to the function they will perform. To verify compliance with specific functional and performance requirements, we carry out a set of tests, measurements, assessments and inspections in our Test Area.
Our products are also qualitatively tested before, during and after production by expert and specialised personnel. For the past 15 years we have been relying on several certification bodies that subject our products to various tests aimed at objectively determining their performance. The design and production quality of the Arteferro elements has allowed us to obtain certifications according to the regulations currently in force in many European countries and thus guarantee our customers’ choice.
STATIC TESTS PRE AND POST BREAKAGE
These tests are performed according to strict safety standards, which define the criteria and static loads, concentrated and distributed, before and after breakage, of railings, balustrades and prefabricated parapets.
DYNAMIC TESTS
These tests are performed by impacting a moving body at a specific point on the railing system. The ultimate goal is to ascertain the level of safety even in the event of sudden impacts.
